James Beacroft

James has been a Chartered Physiotherapist since 2009. He completed an undergraduate degree in Sports Rehabilitation and then proceeded to complete an MSC in Physiotherapy and publish a study investigating foot pressures in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

James subsequently undertook a Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Royal Veterinary College, London. From 2012 he worked as a Veterinary Physiotherapist as well as continuing to treat his human patients.

This unique background naturally directed him to specialise in the treatment neuro-musculoskeletal injuries. He has gained experience at the highest level of competition working with international athletes from various disciplines.  He also previously ran his own private human physiotherapy clinic treating patients with MSK injuries and patients following surgery.

His background in human physiotherapy has enabled him to not only treat patients effectively with various rehabilitation modalities but also, more importantly, ensure our patients are receiving optimum management for their pathology. His philosophy is to ensure each patient has individualised optimum treatment strategies ensuring a holistic approach drawing on his years of experience in both human and veterinary fields.

James has a particular interests arthritis management and the rehabilitation of the sporting dog. He has a keen interest in biomechanics, gait analysis and regenerative medicine.

James enjoys spending time with his family and his lovely naughty miniature Staffordshire Bull Terrier Poppy. He enjoys Kart racing at national and international level and spending time on the water.
